Weeds is a Showtime orignal series that is on it’s final season. I absolutely love this show. It’s funny, gripping, and I’m going to be sad that it won’t be playing anymore.
Weeds has the beautiful Mary-Louise Parker as the main star alongside an amazing cast backing her up. The story is that she is a widowed Mom with two children who is selling weed to keep them financially stable. Weeds has completely gone off from that storyline, but still somewhat follows it. It’s sad to see this show diminish.
Luckily I have bought all the seasons on DVD, so I’ll be able to watch them over and over again.
If you are looking for a good comedy/drama to watch then Weeds is the show for you!
Weeds is currently airing it’s 7th and final season.

Today I attended one of the best shows that I have ever been too! My lovely girlfriend Lauren Young joined me.
Scream The Prayer is a festival of today’s top Christian Metal bands.
I will post a short review on each band, and I will list them in order of appearance.
As Hell Retreats
First time getting to see these guys, and I was highly impressed. I never really heard much of them until a few weeks ago, but I downloaded their new album that hits stores tomorrow the 26th. Overall I really enjoyed these guys, hopefully I will get to see them again.
Sovereign Strength
First time seeing this band as well. Really enjoyed their set. Loved the song that the Close Your Eyes vocalist joined in on. Solid set, with a solid album that just came out.
I The Breather
Another first timer. Some parts of their set seemed generic. I think maybe the set list could have been better, but overall I can see this band destroying cities later on down their future.
The Great Commission
First timer for me. One of my favorite performances of the night. Had the crowd so involved, and had a great message behind their music. Check these guys out!
Texas In July
Last first timer of the night. Had some sound issues at first, but they were good at putting that behind them and coming out with a solid performance. I recommended checking out their album One Reality.
Close Your Eyes
Second time seeing this band, and they did not disappoint. I loved their entire set, and they played a new song that was just everything I was hoping out of them. Can’t wait to hear all the new material. Awesome band! Check them out!
War Of Ages
Seen them a few times before, and I think I enjoyed them a lot more the first few times than this one. Out of all the bands that were playing they were my least favorite, but It was fun to watch the crowd get rowdy for them.
The Chariot
Best performance of the night, hands down. I have had the honor of seeing them before, but their performance tonight was just fantastic. They are so crazy live, and just to watch the crowd go nuts while the band is doing the same was just so much fun.
Sleeping Giant
Second time around seeing these guys, and I loved every second of their set. Such awesome guys with such a positive attitude towards their meaning behind their music made me open my eyes to the fact that God’s love is never ending. Such a powerful message from them. Check them out. You will not be disappointed.
Norma Jean
Second time seeing these awesome dudes. Such a cool light show, along with a clear crisp sound. I was sad to see a bunch of people leave early before they played. Cain’s would have crumbled if everyone sang along to “Memphis Will Be Laid To Waste”.
Such an awesome show, and I’m so glad I was able to make it out this year! Can’t wait till the next one!

I’m a huge Marvel Comics lover, and I was so excited when I heard they were doing the Captain America movie! Now I know everyone is most excited for The Avengers movie that hits theaters next summer, but Captain America is a good movie to hold yourself over until then.
The action, and acting alone is what made the movie so great. Captain America was also one of my favorites, and Chris Evans did a fantastic job doing this role.
If you love to watch your favorite comic book hero in action, then make sure you catch all the Marvel movies that have been released so far to prepare yourself for The Avengers.
Before I forget…stay till the end of the credits. The Avengers trailer awaits you.
Captain America:The First Avenger hit theaters nationwide on July 22nd, 2011.
Some things came up and I didn’t have the time to write a review! Sorry to everyone who actually reads this, but I promise I will start back tomorrow!

Big Brother is an addicting reality game show on the CBS network. Currently they are on their 13th season, and I sure hope this isn’t the last.
I didn’t start watching the show until about Season 4, but my Mom has watched from Day 1. Every year the show has new twists, and the motto of the house is, “Expect the unexpected.”
One thing about the current season that I hate is the fact of bringing Rachel, a house guest from the previous season that no one can live with. The twist this summer was the biggest of them yet whenever they brought back 6 previous house guests, and made the house split into teams of two.
I have a sad pathetic addiction to the show, but let me tell you…future Big Brother contestant right here!

By far my favorite T.V. series to watch!
Dexter Morgan is a blood spatter analyst for the Miami Metro Homicide Department. He is a father and a step-father. Loves his job, loves his kids. You know all the normal stuff right? Well, Dexter is far beyond normal. He has thing called a Dark Passenger. He acquired this whenever he watched his mother being murdered in front of him.
Dexter was then adopted by the Morgan’s. Harry his father tried everything he could to fight the Dark Passenger and give Dexter a normal life. Deb is Dexter’s sister, they are not blood related, but as close as they are you would never tell the difference.
In the field Dexter tracks down serial killers. In his personal time Dexter is a serial killer. Following a code set up by Harry, Dexter murders the people the police can’t catch to clean up the city, and keep his Dark Passenger at bay.
I advise everyone to watch this T.V. show. If you love a good drama then Dexter is your #1 pick. Awesome story, spectacular writing, and phenomenal acting, Dexter is the show to follow.
Dexter will be beginning it’s 6th season on Showtime this fall.

Track List:
Homesick is the third studio album from the florida rockers known as A Day To Remember. A Day To Remember (also know as ADTR), have been ruling the pop/hardcore genre for years now. I have seen ADTR in concert more than I have fingers, and I will admit that they are my favorite band today.
I think one reason that I like ADTR so much is because they can mix two genres I love the most. Pop Punk, and Metal/Hardcore. Within the past year ADTR did release their fourth studio album, What Separates Me From You. I’m reviewing Homesick because I did not like their previous album. Homesick was their best work to date, and I hope they decide to go back to that style for their future work.
Every song is very unique in it’s own special way. From the beginning anthem, to the ending love song, ADTR have made a statement. They are in it for the long haul.
The record is about being on the road 3/4 of the year, and missing what you left back at home. This record is also phenomenal to me because of their guest vocalist selections. Mike Hrancia from The Devil Wears Prada, and Vincent Bennett from The Acacia Strain are two powerhouse vocalists in the Metal scene, and with their deep, nasty growls..they owned their roles as a guest vocalist.
My favorite from the record is “Mr. Highway’s Thinking About The End”. This song is their heaviest song to date, and everything from the vocals to the fills from the drums have me cringe when I listen to this masterpiece.
Overall I enjoyed this album like a 14 year old enjoys Justin Bieber. Pop Punk with a little Mosh for life!
A Day To Remember is: Jeremy McKinnon-Vocals, Neil Westfall-Guitar/Vocals, Joshua Woodard-Bass, Alex Shelnutt-Drums, Kevin Skaff-Guitar/Vocals.

The Perks Of Being A Wallflower is a must read for any book lover. Now this isn’t a new book at all, it was published in 1999 by MTV. Despite it being an older book, it is still a popular read, especially by teenagers. The book is being adapted for a movie to be released by Summit Entertainment in 2012.
The novel begins in August of 1991 with a teen going by the name of ‘Charlie’, and he is writing to an anonymous friend whom he heard being talked about in school. Charlie has just began his Freshman year of high school, his brother is a football player at a university, and his sister is a Senior in high school. Charlie’s best friend committed suicide leaving poor Charlie to face high school alone.
The story is the story of Charlie’s experiences during his Freshman year of high school. Charlie just about goes through it all during the book, and it’s such a good read because you can find something in this book to relate to.
Stephen Chbosky wrote a piece of art, and I am overly excited for the movie.
Go check this out everyone! It’s a easy read, and a overwhelmingly fantastic story.

Pop-Punk perfection. To me Man Overboard hold the crown for pop-punk kings, and with the album Real Talk, It’s going to take a lot for another band to stand on top. If I could I would listen to this album daily, and I love singing along to each and every song.
Lyrically and musically I don’t find a single flaw throughout this album. Every song flows into the next, and to have twelve solid songs on a record is the key to success. My personal favorite on the album is “Montrose.” The song has such a catchy rhythm along with sing-along lyrics. Every song on this album has it’s own unique feel, and I find that a major positive to have in an album. I hate listening to the same song ten times on one CD, it’s just not professional. Like I mentioned in my review for The Story So Far, every good pop-punk album has the one acoustic slow song. “Sidekick” is the one, and it’s the perfect song choice to end the perfect album.
Defend Pop-Punk.
Man Overboard is: Nik Bruzzese-Vocals/Bass, Zac Elesenstein-Vocals/Guitar, Wayne Wildrick-Guitar, Justin Collier-Guitar, and Mike Hrycenko-Drums.
